More Meme-ry.

I've had a mellow week, so hopefully you'll forgive me - here's another survey meme. You know you love it, don't lie. Also, full disclosure, I might have obtained this survey from one of the same "survey" sites I used back in high school when I used MySpace.  As always, if you feel like doing this (and you know you want to), leave me your link in the comments!

*~*~*~*~*~*~*

What is your favorite book?  "Under the Banner of Heaven" by Jon Krakauer, "In Cold Blood" by Truman Capote, and "Skinny Legs and All" by Tom Robbins.

What is your favorite song? It changes, but right now "Don't Think Twice" and "Diamond in the Rough" by Social Distortion/Mike Ness, and "This Light" by Dan Andriano in the Emergency Room.

Who is your hero? Tina Fey. And my husband.  Think that's weird? It's true.

If you could be any character from literature or film, who would you be? Freaking Liz Lemon, DUH. (Rob just said "The question is who would you like to be, not who are you.")

If you could have one super power, what would it be? Flying or the ability to transport to wherever I want.

If you could have three wishes, what would they be? (1) World peace/end to world hunger. For reals. (2) Enough money for me and my family to live comfortably forever. (3) 99 more wishes, derr!

What is your favorite food? Indian food. Specifically korma and mango lassi.

Reading or Writing? Reading.

What is your favorite time of year? Late spring and early summer.

What do you call your grandmother? I call one Mammie and the other Gran.

If you could be any animal, which would you be? Maybe a dolphin, as long as I was far away from Japan.

What is your favorite type of music? Rock, generally.  Some punk, thanks to my husband.

Do you believe in love at first sight? Not particularly.

What is your favorite hobby? Writing, photography.

What is the last book you read? Honestly can't remember the last book I finished. I'm currently reading "Sex, Drugs and Cocoa Puffs" which I am enjoying.

Did you enjoy it? Absolutely not.

Do you collect anything? Thanks to many awesome friends it seems like I am collecting matryoshka dolls and matryoshka-related paraphernalia.  Also tattoos.

  5. When it says 'how many kids do you want to have' I thought you said mentioned that you didn't want to have any?! Or are you just not wanting any right NOW? I think 2 is a good number. Once you hit three, starts to get super messy and crazy around the house lol!

I love when you do these things though. I may steal it from you eventually. I used to fill these out ALL the time in high school. Why are they so fun?!

  7. OK, I have to ask. Why is 'Under the Banner of Heaven' your favorite book? I read this in a religion class in college (if I'm thinking of the right book) and while I enjoyed it, I wouldn't consider it to be a favorite so I'm curious about your thoughts and what made such an impression on you?

Excited to hear your response :)
