Hi friends! Just wanted to let you know that we made it to Santa Fe in one piece (well, many pieces, which we are still unpacking).
I dropped my phone in the bath tub yesterday (it miraculously recovered), then fell and braced my hand against a cactus, and finally, found out that we won't get Internet until Sunday. Other than those things, we are really happy to finally be here and settling in.
Today will hold more unpacking, settling in, and taking our traveling companions (Amie and Megan) back to the airport. I'm so sad to see them leave, especially since we probably won't see them again for a few months.
Oh, and because everyone has asked, Cypress is doing well. The trip was very confusing for her, but I think she's starting to understand that we live here now. She prefers our bedroom mostly, I think because it's cooler and our bed smells like home.
