My First Vlog: It's the Little Things

Well aren't you all in for a treat!  Today I'm linking up with Lindsay over at From the Aisle to Aloha in her feature, It's the Little Things.  The goal was to document the little things during the week that made me feel thankful and that made life a little more pleasant, or in Lindsay's words, "help us to focus on and remember the small ways we are blessed during the week. Even if it's that morning cup of coffee or a new pair of sandals, remind us to break out that camera during the week and document every day life, and make new friends!"

Since I've been itching to do a vlog anyway I decided to combine the two, though a vlog wasn't specifically part of the assignment.  Watch to see what made me happy this week, and check out the pictures below.  Spoiler alert: my "little things" may include comfort foods, fun fall accessories, you of course, my lovely little beastie, and my shirtless husband.

(Clarification: my shirtless husband doesn't actually make an appearance in the video...I just mention him.)

Also, I won't blame you if you don't want to watch all 7 minutes of this, or any of it at all.

For the record, that is microwaveable hot FUDGE sauce, not giant leeches eating this sundae.

    You have the cutest voice! Oh, and I noticed that the video is titled "...take two." What happened to take one?! I giggled about the "down below" comment, too. Yes, I'm 6-years old. :-)

    my husband never wears a shirt either. he probably would never wear pants unless i made him. and that hot fudge does look a lot like leeches.

    Great vlog! I love hearing what bloggers actually sound like, so I usually watch vlogs people post if I can. Cypress is super cute and I'm totally hoping whoever I end up marrying has the same habit of walking around shirtless ;D

    Hopping over from Lindsay's party (I can be found over at Seek Ye First)! I watched it all and you are too adorable - I love seeing what other bloggers sound like (am I just awkward?)! My dogs never would have been so quiet with me talking to myself! Oh, and I also call them Jimmie's! It kills me when people call them sprinkles!
    Great list of little things... which we also do - index cards! I can't keep track of note pads to save my life and index cards are just easier! Index cards and sharpie's! I can't wait to see more :D

    Well you're just adorable!! You should make more vlogs, they're fun to watch :) I also like how all bloggers laughed at the "down below" comment... I burst out laughing too! We're a pretty mature bunch right? ha!

    I also really like this idea of little things, I did this last year as one of my goals, I had to think of 10 things every week for 3 months that made me happy. It was tough some weeks to do but blogging about it was always fun and always made me feel a bit better afterwards! :)

    Awww look how cute you are! I love seeing other bloggers on video to see their mannerisms and hear how they sound. Omg that bug thing is ridiculous, I've never seen that before! Haha, poor Cypress getting hit with it tho. Mmm gotta try that gypsy soup for sure. Great vlog!

    Ummm SO I have to tell you I enjoyed every second of this vlog. Not only are you funny, but you're funny in a way that makes me unable to contain my laughter. I mean, there were several moments in the video where I had a good belly laugh. (I'm not sure if girls can have belly laughs, but if they can, your awesome vlog is responsible!)
