I moved from Ohio to Florida back in ...Great post! I moved from Ohio to Florida back in October of 2010 for a job, leaving my fiancé in Ohio. It was honestly the best thing we could have done for our relationship at the time. We love each other to pieces, but it was a much needed break and brought the boy to his senses and made him grow up a little bit & let me experience living on my own for the first time. It's now been over a year of living apart which stinks, but he has a job he loves which is hard to find. So now he is trying to decide whether to find a job here in Florida or have me move back to the Midwest with their cold winters and give my graphic design work and blogging a chance. I love Florida weather, but I'd definitely move if he has a job he loves because when he's happy, so am I....plus I would love to just try to get a home based business a shot with my graphic arts work (need practice) or my paintings. OK...I'm done rambling now! :)Jennhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13470992572303352185noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1824982487100086152.post-88895336716172410722012-01-24T18:34:26.531-07:002012-01-24T18:34:26.531-07:00Hey, I'm good at sitting in chairs, too! Yay for avoiding things!Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09540357391500090255noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1824982487100086152.post-36720585251191911602012-01-24T18:27:32.657-07:002012-01-24T18:27:32.657-07:00I concur especially with number 5. That by itself seems odd to people that I (the woman) chose to leave temporarily rather than the military forcing him to so I had to get a thick skin about other people's opinions. I was also in the military years ago so we may just have different attitudes about distance. He supports it and that's what matters.

And when people say OMG I couldn't be apart from my boyfriend longer than a day . . .

Makes me stabby.Henri B.https://www.blogger.com/profile/00892218291117471971noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1824982487100086152.post-32502653302332992792012-01-24T17:45:41.202-07:002012-01-24T17:45:41.202-07:00This is such a great post! It's so hard to really communicate over the phone or through emails and sometimes you end up fighting over stupid things. Taking that step back is a good way to put it all into perspective. Great post, smart lady!Olivia Gracehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14156795357886037092noreply@blogger.com
